A mileage log on your phone. No trip limit, no tracker box.
For sole traders and small companies using their own car for work. Your phone spots the journey, you tap business or private, and the log is sealed so it cannot be edited afterwards.
Runs in your phone's browser. Nothing to install, no account to try it.

How it works
1. Drive
Open the log before you set off. Your phone follows its own position and spots when you leave and when you have been parked for four minutes.
2. One tap
When the journey ends, tap Business or Private. Add who you visited — that is what HMRC asks you to be able to show.
3. Sealed
The journey is written into a log where every entry carries a fingerprint of the one before it. If anything is changed later, the check shows exactly where.
Why a sealed log matters
A mileage log is evidence. HMRC expects a record kept as you go, journey by journey — not one written up the week the return is due. This log can only add: a mistake is corrected by a new entry pointing at the old one, and both stay visible.
What is stored for every journey
Date and time for start and finish · where you drove from and to · miles travelled · purpose (business or private) · a note, such as the client or site · who was driving.
What the miles are worth
For the 2026/27 tax year HMRC's approved mileage rate for cars and vans is 55p for the first 10,000 business miles and 25p after that. The log adds your business miles up as you go and tells you when you are getting close to 10,000, where the rate steps down. HMRC's mileage rates (GOV.UK)
Free. That is the whole price.
This costs us nothing beyond sitting on our server, so it costs you nothing. No tracker box to fit, no trip ceiling, no "free up to 20 journeys a month", no contract that renews itself, and no account to get started. Everything here is free, including exporting your own data.
Honest about what a browser can do
A web page is not allowed to read GPS while the phone is locked. The log keeps the screen awake while it records, and you can always end a journey by hand. If you forgot to open it, enter the journey yourself — it is marked as entered by hand in the log.
